Relax at Casuarina Beach
Casuarina Beach is the most famous white-sand beach in the Jaffna Peninsula, located on Karainagar Island, Sri Lanka. Just 20 km from Jaffna town, it is celebrated for its calm, shallow, crystal-clear waters, making it safe and highly popular for swimming and family outings.
True to its name, this 1.5 km stretch of coastline is lined with wispy Casuarina trees that provide excellent natural shade from the northern sun. It offers a tranquil escape with far fewer crowds than other popular Sri Lankan beach destinations.
